Andy Ballester is a co-founder of GoFundMe. GoFundMe organizers have raised over $10 billion for medical expenses, education, community projects, sports, emergencies, pets, and more, making it the world’s largest online fundraising platform. In 2008 GoFundMe raised an undisclosed amount of money from a group of investors led by Accel and Technology Crossover Ventures (also including Iconiq Capital, Greylock, Stripes, and Meritech). As part of that transaction, the investors took a majority stake in the business, buying out the two founders in the process. Ballester has a passion for creating products that drive change on a massive scale.
