Since launching Level 3 Design Group in 1995, Jim has been leading the day-to-day activities while maintaining the firm’s strong relationships with national brands like Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and InterContinental Hotels. Jim is also the owner and managing partner of Level 3 Development, a real estate development firm specializing in hospitality property acquisition, renovation, new builds and strategic market analysis. Jim earned a B.S. in both Engineering and Business from Purdue University. He currently resides in the greater Los Angeles area.

Spitzig is founder of the Patrick Cady Foundation, which supplies grants to individuals between the ages of 18-25 in order to provide access to treatment, housing and other services for those that are homeless, or afflicted by drug and alcohol dependency. The Foundation works with their clients through every step of the recovery and home placement process, ensuring they remain in trusting hands and feel supported on their rehabilitative journey. and its mission.

Spitzig is former President of the Board of Directors of Casa De Rosas Womans Homeless Shelter, which during it’s time of operation was the oldest women’s homeless shelter in Los Angeles. The 116-year-old historic site has been recently transformed into a campus for formerly homeless single-parent veterans with a child.
